Dirty Mitch McConnell Declines to Whip GOP Senators for Acquittal of President Trump
On January 6, President Donald Trump spoke to over 500,000 supporters at the Stop the Steal rally in Washington DC.
The rally was the final attempt to prevent the theft of the 2020 presidential election.
During his speech, President Trump told the crowd: “I know that everyone here will soon be walking through Capitol Building to peacefully and patriotically have their voices heard. “
The chaos in the U.S. Capitol had begun before President Trump even finished his speech.
An Antifa rally was scheduled near the US Capitol at 11 a.m. that day.
Over the next week, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told the reporter that he believed President Trump had committed criminal acts.

And now there are reports that McConnell is not pushing Republican senators to acquit President Trump in the recent impeachment fraud. In fact, McConnell doesn’t yet know how he’s going to vote!
Senate Minority Chairman Mitch McConnell is signaling to fellow Republicans that the final vote on Donald Trump’s impeachment is a matter of conscience and that senators who have contested the constitutionality of the process remain in favor of convicting the former, according to three people familiar with his thinking Presidents could vote.
The Kentucky Republican has also suggested that he hasn’t made up his mind how he will vote, two of the people said, despite voting Tuesday to make it unconstitutional for the Senate to try the case against a former president.
This position is very different from McConnell’s statement at the start of Trump’s first impeachment trial last year that he did not consider himself an impartial juror.
