Sam Asghari’s Statement on Britney Spears’s Conservatorship

A few days after the FX / Hulu documentary was released Framing Britney SpearsSam Asghari, Britney’s five-year-old friend, spoke about the singer’s controversial conservatory. The rate that is part of The New York Times presented The documentaries examine Britney’s struggle with father Jamie Spears, who legally controlled her life, despite #FreeBritney supporters pointing out the many inconsistencies surrounding the Conservatory. While Britney did not address the documentary, which was not authorized by the singer herself, Sam broke his silence on the matter in an exclusive interview People on February 8th.
“I am grateful for all the love and support she has received from her fans around the world.”
“I always wanted the best for my significant other and will continue to support her in pursuing her dreams and creating the future she wants and deserves,” the actor said in a statement. “I am grateful for all the love and support she has received from her fans around the world and I look forward to a normal, amazing future together.”
While Sam’s testimony didn’t directly address aspects of the documentary, he offered his support for both Britney and her fans, who have come together to start the #FreeBritney movement. Sam and Britney met on the set of the pop star’s music video “Slumber Party” in 2016 and have been romantic ever since.
