A lot of the questions you have can all be answered in this frequently asked questions area.
i’ve got an individual who got a negative nasty awareness collection off of the credit reports however one one of the credit reports the letter is in transit still okay it says it’s been stuck in transit all right what should my next step be should i resend the letter that is stuck in transit all right that’s one the first question now this does not happen too often in fact i had a similar situation and i was like hold on is this really stuck in transit what sometimes happens is the tracking doesn’t get updated now you know you’re thinking why wouldn’t that why would that happen you’re getting millions of letters around the country okay occasionally one here one there may not update fully and the reason why i said that this has happened to me and you may not want to just go ahead and send that second letter because it appears to be stuck in tr uh transit it actually might have made it and the tracking was not updated unfortunately it’s a possibility and if it gets there and they are in the process of you know running their independent investigation like they’re supposed to be and they send you something back in the mail 30 days from when they got the letters then you might have a little bit of time to wait this individual actually just sent their first round of letters two weeks ago so in two weeks they’ve already got some negative unverified collection off their credit reports and they’re still waiting on this other dispute that is supposedly stuck in transit now it might it might be and it might not be so just wait those full 30 days okay give it a little time on that side for them to get the letters you know sometimes the mail it takes a little time to get there so you say okay they probably got the letters on such and such a date give them 30 days to post market response if you don’t see something by then then i would say yes send your next round of letters and you can even send your non-response letters okay just because that they are pretending like oh well we don’t know we didn’t get it we don’t know maybe it was stuck and you never know they try to play all sorts of games so you could even follow up with a non-response letter because you did indeed send your letters and you sent them right and you’ve got the certified the tracking you’ve got everything so you know that they’re being sent okay so sometimes yes it’s a situation where the tracking wasn’t necessarily updated and you can still get a response from them and they still are getting those disputes it happened to me one time it is possible it’s pretty rare we don’t usually talk about it but just in case if it happened to you you know what’s going now this other individual asks hey
i’ve got another collection that i’m dealing with okay and they’re trying to basically bs right they’re trying to do this things nonsense and they’re trying to say oh well you know if you don’t respond within 30 days from us sending you a letter we’re going to assume this is yours the collection agency sends you this dunning letter and they say oh well if you don’t respond to us within 30 days we’re going to assume this is yours and we’re just going to leave it on your credit reports so you can yes you can send your collection validation letters to them to dispute with them okay and yes your stuff’s supposed to be in this in dispute okay but sometimes they send these letters out right before you send your letters to the bureaus.
