Unpopularity Of Kamala Harris Presents Real Threat To Democrats In Coming Elections

Recent polls show that Kamala Harris is popular with Democrats, and that’s about it. Republicans don’t like them, and neither do independent voters.

Don’t forget that Harris was so unpopular during the 2020 Democratic primary that she dropped out before the first Iowa vote.

It doesn’t look like much has changed.

Kamala’s historic unpopularity threatens the Democrats’ chances for 2024

The Democratic Party better hopes that Joe Biden stays for life until the next presidential election, otherwise it can be assumed that a President Ron DeSantis would succeed him. YouGov released the latest numbers on Kamala Harris, and apparently our Vice President, the alleged 2024 candidate should Biden not run, is historically and shockingly unpopular.

YouGov found that 49% of voters think Biden is cheap for 43% who thought he was unfavorable, which is in line with other polls. But for Harris, the numbers are worse than the other way around. Their cheapness is only 41% and their disadvantage is 48%. Most problematic: one in five Democrats surveyed found it unfavorable, as did nearly three in five independents.

Given that the media has been trying to make Kamala a reality for the past two years, those numbers would be grim in a vacuum, but they’re unprecedented compared to their predecessors.

This is a disaster for Democrats.

Journalist Glenn Greenwald highlighted this in a recent tweet:

I can’t believe that the candidate who had to drop out of the presidential race before she even received a single vote – despite great media admiration and ancestry from the largest state – is not popular even in the government’s honeymoon phase. #KHive pic.twitter.com/Koq8UQHCaM

Do you remember the debates?

People quickly forget how poorly Tulsi Gabbard held them on stage. It was like watching a car accident. Immediately destroyed Kamala’s chances … But people are 10 seconds of Toms out of 50 first dates

This is a reality that Democrats will have to face in the 2022 and 2024 elections.
